Our Story

In 2007, Dr. David Lin established a private practice in Burlingame, CA, providing comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults while holding leadership roles at San Mateo Medical Center, where he served as Chief of the Medical Psychiatry Service, and as President of the California Psychological Association. In addition to his clinical and administrative contributions, Dr. Lin serves as a consultant to three technology startups in the behavioral health sector.

Recognizing the increasing demand for high-quality, culturally responsive mental health care, The practice expanded in 2022 to incorporate a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals specializing in child, adolescent, and family therapy. This growth included the addition of Ms. Jessica Teng, LMFT, followed by Ms. Selina Chan, LMFT, in 2023, and Mr. Andres De Alba, AMFT, in 2024. Rebranded as Peninsula Wellness, the practice remains committed to delivering exceptional, inclusive care tailored to the diverse needs of the community. These highly trained therapists are able to provide various types of therapy modalities serving clients from the youngest to the oldest, using the latest modalities, and in four different languages.

Peninsula Wellness Psychological Corporation (PWPC) is uniquely positioned as a concierge behavioral health clinic, offering personalized, high-quality care tailored to each client's individual needs. By prioritizing accessibility, cultural sensitivity, and exceptional service, PWPC addresses the growing demand for mental health services, ensuring that every client receives focused, one-on-one attention to support their journey toward healing and well-being.
